From June to August, I was an intern at McKinney + Silver in Durham. While these pieces may see silly to add, I added these specifically because I learned the most from them - and I love the gnome.
While I don't have many pieces to show, I feel I have gained an amazing amount of knowledge about Advertising. It was defiantly worth the trip.

I learned:
A brilliant, well paid and rewarded art director has to be conceptual, design savvy and quick on their feet.
Rule Number 6.
Ask tons of questions.
Keep contacts. They can give you a job, and they are great to talk to when you start freaking out about the future.
If you keep eating the snacks, you'll gain weight.
North Carolina is amazing!
Project Managers are the greatest people on earth.
Production designers come in close second.
I loved it.
